Turisme Comunitat Valenciana opens on Monday the pre-appointment request for the «Recuperem Turisme» 2025 Travel Voucher program aimed at people affected by the dana that hit the province of Valencia on October 29th. It is expected to reach around 17,000 beneficiaries residing in more than a hundred affected localities in the province, as well as in some districts of València.
In this way, and as indicated in the resolution of the call for these grants published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) on Friday, the registration period begins on May 12 at 10:00 a.m. and ends on November 28, 2025. The requests will be submitted exclusively online through the Generalitat’s electronic headquarters, as specified by the regional administration in a statement.
The official website of the Travel Voucher program, which is endowed with 5.1 million euros, will provide information on these grants and will enable access to the electronic headquarters for registration requests.
The Minister of Innovation, Industry, Trade, and Tourism, Marián Cano, emphasized that «this initiative has a dual purpose: to provide access to tourism experiences that contribute to the personal and emotional recovery of those affected by the dana, and at the same time, to promote domestic tourism and support our local business sector.»
«Our commitment is to promote a tourism that heals, rebuilds bonds, activates the economy, and generates excitement,» she said.
Furthermore, the minister stressed that «as the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, stated during the presentation of this initiative, the government will request and demand tax exemption for this tourism voucher.»
BENEFICIARIES
The program is exclusively aimed at individuals registered in any of the municipalities included in Annex I of the resolution calling for these grants, who can benefit from a single grant for the hiring of tourism services within the autonomous territory.
The grant amount will cover one hundred percent of the reservation cost, up to a maximum of 350 euros, with a minimum stay of two consecutive nights in a tourist establishment in the Valencian Community participating in the program. Additionally, other services directly provided by the accommodation, such as half board, health and wellness treatments, sports activities, excursions, entertainment, or parking, may be included.
Trips must be taken between May 26 and December 22, 2025, including the summer season. The grant allocation order will be determined by the completeness and validation time of the request, and compliance checks will be carried out throughout the program’s validity period.
The registration process will consist of two phases: a first phase of pre-appointment request (without the need for an electronic signature) and a second phase of submitting the registration request, which will require a digital certificate. Admitted individuals will receive a promotional code to formalize their tourism services reservation within the following ten business days.
Travel agencies and tourist accommodation establishments interested in joining the program can do so from May 12 to November 28, 2025, also online through the Travel Voucher portal. All those registered in the Tourism Registry of the Valencian Community who meet the requirements of the call can participate.
