The male 11-a-side football teams of the Academia VCF have completed a fantastic season in 2024/25, achieving the three most important titles in youth football: VCF Juvenil A champions of Group VII of División de Honor, VCF Juvenil B champions of Group VIII of Liga Nacional, and VCF Cadete A champions of Lliga Autonòmica.
This triple crown in the main leagues had not been accomplished by Valencia CF’s Academy since 2010 when they also completed the poker with the title of VCF Infantil A.
Since 2010, neither Valencia CF nor any other club in the Valencian Community had achieved this feat in the three main categories. While three titles were won in 2023 (VCF Juvenil B, VCF Cadete A, and VCF Infantil A) and in 2012 (VCF Juvenil A, VCF Juvenil B, and VCF Infantil A).
The merit of the 2024/25 season is also in achieving all 3 titles several matchdays before the end, showcasing the excellent performance of our VCF Juvenil A in División de Honor, VCF Juvenil B in Liga Nacional, and VCF Cadete A in Lliga Autonòmica. This also highlights the value of the work done by all departments within Academia VCF and the playing identity #JugarAFoc.
VCF Juvenil A, runner-up in the Copa de Campeones, finished as runners-up in the Juvenile Champions Cup after brilliantly and thrillingly eliminating FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Quarterfinals and Semifinals respectively, only to lose in the final against Real Betis, displaying a high level of competitiveness.
VCF Mestalla ended the season just one game away from being able to compete in the promotion playoffs to Primera RFEF after a strong second half in Group III of Segunda RFEF. The team led by Miguel Ángel Angulo reached the final matchday with a chance to play the promotion playoffs, a season where six of its players made their official debut with the first team: Martín Tejón, Rodrigo Abajas, Isma Santana, Iker Córdoba, Warren Madrigal, and Pablo López.
