• These grants have been strengthened for the agricultural and livestock sectors in areas affected by the flood
- The grants amount to 2,500 euros per project
- An increase of up to 500 euros in reinforcement for the agricultural and livestock sector in the districts of La Torre, Castellar-l’Oliveral, El Forn d’Alcedo, and Faitanar affected by the flood
The Valencia City Council, through the Department of Entrepreneurship, has launched a new grant call for a total of 528,000 euros aimed at promoting investment in new business projects.
“The council must be an active ally of those who choose to undertake,” said the Councilor of Entrepreneurship, José Gosálbez, adding that “these grants provide clear support to those who generate employment, wealth, and innovation in our city.”
The grants, which can reach up to 2,500 euros per application, are intended to finance machinery, equipment, information technologies, local renovations, and other essential expenses for starting up or consolidating businesses. In addition, those belonging to the agricultural and livestock sector who have been affected by the October 2024 flood in the districts of La Torre, Castellar-l’Oliveral, El Forn d’Alcedo, and Faitanar, can receive an additional increase of 500 euros.
Gosálbez emphasized the need to “recognize entrepreneurship in all its forms, including agriculture and livestock, fundamental sectors that cannot be left behind. These grants are a tool to reactivate the local economy from within.”
“We are talking about a real boost for those taking a risk, for those who open a shop or innovate in rural areas. It is a matter of economic justice and direct institutional support,” concluded the councilor.
The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the publication of the call summary in the Official Gazette of the Province.
