The Local Government Board has agreed to award the contract for the supply of zero-label vehicles for the municipal fleet of the City Council of València for an amount of 635,000 euros.
This contract, which has been divided into 4 lots, is part of the municipal policy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the trips made with the vehicles that make up the municipal fleet.
The first lot, valued at 84,000 euros, has been awarded to Koryo Car S.A, which will allow the acquisition of a minimum of two 100% electric representation vehicles. The second lot, which will incorporate a minimum of 3 plug-in hybrid vehicles into the municipal fleet, with a budget of 158,000 euros, is assumed by Autos Montalt SA. The third lot, with an expenditure of 313,500 euros, has been awarded to Stellantis & You Spain, which will provide 9 100% electric tourism vehicles. And lot 4, managed by Automóviles Juan Giner S.L, will incorporate a minimum of 2 100% electric mixed-type vans with 9 seats with 79,500 euros.
With this acquisition, close to 70% of the municipal fleet will be made up of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, and the City Council maintains its commitment to gradually renew the fleet through the acquisition of new electric vehicles to achieve the goal of 100% zero-emission vehicles.
