The president of the Popular Party of the Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón, has stated that the project of the PPCV is «perfectly supported»: «The work of reconstruction and progress that we are doing, we have brought change to the Valencian Community and we have a Popular Party very proud of what we do.»
For Mazón, this feeling «is noticeable and palpable.» «You see it and we have felt it. Therefore, we return to our land with all the love, all the applause, and all the encouragement of the Popular Party of Spain,» he said at the XXI National Congress of the PP.
The leader of the Valencian ‘popular’ has highlighted «the weight of the Valencian delegation in this national congress of the Popular Party, not only from a quantitative point of view, but also qualitative and in terms of content.»
Thus, he highlighted the fact that the vice presidency of the congress has fallen to Vicent Mompó, which «has been an express endorsement of what is being done in the province of Valencia, mainly from the point of view of reconstruction.»
«From a quantitative point of view, there are seven members of the Popular Party of the Valencian Community who have entered the National Executive Committee, pending what will happen with the second tiers in the coming weeks,» he pointed out.
In his opinion, «the most important thing is the content in a political resolution in which the needs for financing, the Autonomous Liquidity Fund, the liquidity needed by the Valencian Community right now as a matter of justice, as a matter of equity have been expressly recognized by the entire Popular Party.» «It is very important that the rest of colleagues from all the communities have accepted it for us,» he emphasized.
«An issue that shows that we have strength, influence, and above all, it means that we are building the financing we need,» he reiterated, while pointing out that «it must be clear that after a catastrophe like the one we have had, the first thing that administrations have to do is to ensure that no taxes are charged to the victims, which is the policy of the Consell and must be clear in a national political resolution, not only for the case of Valencia, but for any catastrophe that could occur in Spain.»
In this line, he argued that «no one can be subjected to the immorality of charging taxes to any of the victims, to any of the victims,» and expressed his «pride» that «this has been ratified at the congress of the ‘popular’.»
«UNITY CONGRESS»
Regarding the Federal Committee of the PSOE, he pointed out that, «in the case of the Popular Party, there is a congress of unity, ambition, political project, a Valencian Community that is stepping strong, receiving the love of the entire Popular Party.» Thus, he described the current situation of «those who govern us» as a «disaster.»
«From the PPCV, we feel very satisfied and supported, it is very important to understand that the Valencian Community and its recovery are fundamental and here is a party eager to continue moving forward with the need and now with the urgency for Feijóo to be president of Spain as soon as possible, because if not, we cannot continue,» he concluded.
