a great experience on and off the field

“We have enjoyed a lot with the kids. In training sessions, friendly matches, and the tournament, we have been very competitive and had a great time,” says Gabor, highlighting the experience beyond football.

“Off the field, it has been an even better experience. They have made friends from other countries, seen how VCF Academies in other countries work, I think it’s an experience for a lifetime,” he adds.

the keys to victory

Gabor Takacs celebrated with his players and companions a title in the IV VCF Academy World Cup, where Dinamo Star SE joins FK Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania, Polisportiva Bruinese of Italy, and Escoles VCF, whom they defeated in the grand final.

“We only ask one thing from the kids: to try to be better in each game because they need to improve to achieve results. We are happy to win, but if we don’t win, it doesn’t matter because they are good players and are developing well. The mentality is the most important thing: how to improve in the long run, have confidence on the field, be brave, and try to do better in each game.”

the connection with Valencia CF

With this title in the IV VCF Academy World Cup, Dinamo Star SE of Hungary strengthens the bond that started a year ago with Valencia CF and the VCF Academy, which is a technical partner of the Hungarian club.

“For us, Valencia CF is very important because we have very good relationships that help us improve our football in Hungary. It helps the players develop in the right environment, think correctly with the DNA and the right mentality.”

«In Valencia, we have everything: good weather, good coaches, and facilities. It’s the best place to improve,” concludes Gabor, ensuring confidently, “We will return next year to the VCF Academy World Cup.”.

The VCF Academy World Cup is part of the VCF Academy Programs that, along with the various VCF Academies in America, Asia, and Europe, the VCF Camps held by Valencia CF worldwide, the Training Experience at the Valencia CF training center, and many other actions, help extend the club’s brand image.

Every season, more than 5000 children from over 50 countries participate in some of the actions that make up the VCF Academy Programs
