REAL MADRID
“In a Final Four, we knew that any opponent would be tough. We drew Real Madrid and face it with maximum enthusiasm. We will compete in the best possible way. All the teams in the Final Four have a lot of talent, very competitive players, and we face the challenge with great enthusiasm. With all due respect to Real Madrid, we believe we have a great team and can compete to the fullest and with humility, working to try to win that semifinal.”
ONE GAME AT A TIME
“As throughout the season, we focus on the next game, regardless of what may come after. The first game is the semifinal and we will try to win it. Then, if we make it to the final, we will also try to win it. In the end, we want to win, and if the prize of playing in the UEFA Youth League comes after, then so be it.”
OPPORTUNITY TO GROW
“These kinds of games, just like the one against Barcelona and the Copa del Rey matches against Granada and Racing, represent incredible growth opportunities for the players, a chance to get them closer to the level they will face. Many of them will be in professional football next year, and others will be one step away. We believe that these types of games are fantastic for their growth in that sense.”
RETURN TO TRAINING
“Both the players and the coaching staff needed rest after a very intense week for everyone. However, the return to work has been as usual, with a lot of enthusiasm. The players have returned with an incredible willingness to work. It’s a pleasure to be with them because they have gone from two days off to immediately connecting and getting into the work dynamic to continue growing.”
QUARTERFINAL AGAINST FC BARCELONA
“It strengthens the group, but it’s not something that should be just for one day. The team has a competitive spirit, a resilience that, even when things go wrong, they manage to overcome. It already happened to us in the middle of the season in the league, when we were seven points behind Elche CF and the team continued to believe, and we managed to turn it around.”
CONFIDENT
“We can eliminate Real Madrid. But, yes, with our feet on the ground. We will fight, we will compete, because it’s not going to be easy.”
