Some coastal towns may experience the warmest night of the summer this early morning, before the thermal drop
The «anomalous» heat that the Valencian Community has been experiencing since the end of May will begin to ease from this Monday. Temperatures will decrease throughout the week until they are clearly below normal values for the end of July.
In fact, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), next Thursday and Friday could be the coolest days since the beginning of June in the Valencian Community, with an average temperature of 22 degrees.
The expected thermal drop in the middle of the week will be noticeable both in daytime and nighttime temperatures. In addition, there is a chance of showers accompanied by thunderstorms during Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, with less likelihood in Alicante.
After 48 tropical nights in Valencia (the next one could be the 49th) and 10 torrid nights (the next one could be the eleventh), it is possible that during the upcoming weekend, minimum temperatures will drop below 20 degrees throughout the territory.
The temperature drop will begin this Monday, significantly in the maximum temperatures in the provinces of Valencia and Castellón. In Alicante, temperatures will remain high in the south, where a yellow warning is in effect.
However, the next early morning is expected to be very warm again, and nighttime temperatures will rise. In some coastal towns, it may be the warmest night of the summer so far.
