With 90 minutes to define the classification for the Final Four of the Copa de Campeones, the VCF Juvenil A faces the return match against FC Barcelona on Sunday, May 18 at 12:00 pm. After a 2-2 draw at the Antonio Puchades, the quarter-final is finely balanced.
«We are going to Barcelona with a lot of enthusiasm,» says Miguel Monferrer, captain of VCF Juvenil A. «It’s a similar context to what we had here: a good, big field, with a lot of people… and we are going with conviction and desire to achieve victory,» he adds.

The challenge is huge for VCF Juvenil A, the champions of Group VII of División de Honor, as they aim to overcome FC Barcelona U19 at home, who recently won the UEFA Youth League.
«Obviously, Barcelona is a team that everyone wants to play against. They have had a very good dynamic this year, with very good players of high quality, both up front and at the back. But the coach before the match told us that we had to play without excessive responsibility, without pressure, and that we have to enjoy it, because we are really playing football and doing what we love,» highlights Monferrer.
«On one hand, it’s tough because it’s Barcelona and they are a good rival and there’s a lot of talk from the outside and more excitement, but from within, we live it with calmness and with a clear mind, as always,» says the Valencia full-back.
The path to follow was set by VCF Juvenil A in the first leg, where they were superior to the Barcelona youth team in many phases of the match.
«It’s true that they have good players, but we are also good and we come out to compete like in any other match. We knew that last Sunday was important, but we faced it with normal responsibility, without pressure. In the end, they have their actions, we have ours, and that’s how the match ended, in a draw,» he explains.
