As if they were directing the training session of a team from the Valencia CF Academy. That’s how the over 600 coaches from the affiliated clubs with Valencia CF participating in the Escoles VCF project have been feeling these past months during the Training Actions at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna with the aim of getting to know the methodology of the VCF Academy better.

Training Actions for this season incorporate as a novelty the possibility to listen at all times to the instructions of the VCF Academy coaches and perceive more directly the type of interventions, messages, communication, and training pace of the VCF Academy teams.

“This year we have equipped the coach leading the training with a microphone, in this case Javi Sanchis from VCF Infantil A, so that Escoles VCF coaches can follow the session more directly from the sidelines and through an app be all connected and hear all the instructions” says Ramón Mompó, Head of Escoles VCF.
This new auditory immersion substantially enhances the experience in these Training Actions by adding extra value to the previous theoretical training, where the training week of the team whose session is about to be watched is explained.

“It is a very interesting contribution because it allows us to see how the VCF Academy works, the personalized message from the coach to try to instill it in our schools” explains José Luis Veguer, Coordinator of EAF Valencia CF.
“The Escoles VCF project is very interesting for training. We had never had such direct access to interventions before, and now it is more productive to see what type of interventions the coach performs, when they are done, the duration… the type of message and focus the intervention on the goal being worked on” says Juanchi Sanabria, Sports Director of At. Barrio La Luz.
Thanks to these new immersive Training Actions, the over 600 Escoles VCF coaches who have participated in them can better understand the methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in training players to compete at the elite level, according to the CIES Football Observatory (+ INFO)
The Escoles VCF program is in its sixth season and includes over 40 affiliated clubs throughout the Valencian Community, the Region of Murcia, and also Tenerife to attract talent from the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia while training the coaches of the affiliated clubs and sharing the methodology of the VCF Academy and promoting Valencianism
