Rodríguez Uribes has been present this past weekend at the match played by VCF Femenino at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna against Real Madrid and has visited the works of Nou Mestalla, where he was received by the Director General of Valencia CF, Javier Solís, and by the Director of Operations and Infrastructures, Christian Schneider, and has been able to personally verify the size and progress of this great project for the Club and the city.
«It’s magnificent, I think it’s an extraordinary project. I hope that very soon, in a couple of years, we will have a new stadium for Valencia CF, for Valencia CF, but also for the city and for Spain. That’s why I believe we will surely have a venue for the 2030 World Cup here. Now, seeing the works, the progress being made, the project in place, the sustainable and modern stadium concept with many possibilities not only for football, we are in the best situation. We are all aligned, from the CSD we have supported Valencia and Valencia CF to be a host of the World Cup,» highlights Rodríguez Uribes.
The president of the CSD explains that in «this site visit with a hard hat included, I see that we are going to have an extraordinary, modern, magnificent stadium… Upon entering, it reminded me a bit of the Stade de France, I was at the Olympic Games in Paris and this stadium has these magnificent amplitudes that are necessary in modern stadium concepts, providing security and the Valencian fans will enjoy it a lot.»

Regarding the possibilities of Nou Mestalla being a host city for the upcoming 2030 FIFA World Cup, the Valencian Rodríguez Uribes has shown complete confidence, especially after witnessing firsthand the progress of this great project: «It is the commitment of the Club, the city, and the institutions. Valencia is an extraordinary city that has to be part of major events, and this project meets all the conditions for that. There is a project, there are deadlines, and I am convinced that the result will be fantastic. It will be the newest and most modern stadium, Valencia is the third city in Spain, life is wonderful here, there are infrastructures, high-speed trains, hotels, the society is welcoming… And I am very happy because I see with my own eyes that this is moving forward, that it will be done well, and there is a well-thought-out project by Valencia CF. This is something to feel very satisfied and very happy about.»
