The VCF Juvenil A begins its journey in the Copa de Campeones after winning the title in the Group VII of División de Honor. The Valencia youth team will face FC Barcelona this Sunday at 12:00 (live on VCF MEDIA Radio 92.6FM, App, and web VCF) at the Estadio Antonio Puchades in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
The team led by Óscar Sánchez aims to continue their good form at the Ciutat Esportiva VCF after finishing the league without losing a single home game with a record of 14W – 1D – 0L. With this, the Valencian team will try to take advantage in a tough knockout round that will be resolved a week later in Catalan territory.
The rival to beat in this tie is FC Barcelona, who this year has won the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Youth League, and the title of champions of Group III of División de Honor. The team managed by Jiuliano Belletti is the top candidate to also win this title, making this tie a great challenge for the Valencians.

ÓSCAR SÁNCHEZ: «WE HOPE TO SEE THE GRANDSTANDS OF PUCHADES WITH A SPECIAL ATMOSPHERE»
Regarding this first match of the Copa de Campeones, the coach of VCF Juvenil A, Óscar Sánchez, said: «The strength of the Antonio Puchades, we want to make the most of it, all that strength we have had during a year in which we have won everything in the league except for a draw, and in the Copa del Rey we won one and drew another except on penalties. Hopefully, many people will come and we will see the grandstands of the Antonio Puchades with a special atmosphere.» He added: «We are among the top eight. Obviously, the knockout rounds are already difficult, and if we add the best teams in Spain, the level increases. This is really where we wanted to be. The euphoria of the league is over, where I believe we have shown throughout all the weeks that we have been the best, that we have trained incredibly, that we have prepared very well. Now it’s time to continue what we have been doing all year.»
