Valencia CF pays tribute in this month of May to its members with over 50 years of seniority. Camp de Mestalla has been the scene of one of the most emotional events in the Valencian calendar: the recognition of members who have been season ticket holders for over 50 years without interruption.

“Since 1957, the year when the electric light was inaugurated in the field, I have been coming here. Almost 70 years, like my second home. The feeling and affection we have for this Club remains. All my grandchildren, my daughters, are all Valencia CF fans. This event has been a nice gesture, to be grateful for. Valencia CF is that: something you carry inside, it excites you, makes you feel, a passion,” recounts Alberto Marí, a member with over 50 years of uninterrupted seniority.
This event was attended by the Club’s Team Manager – Voro González-, the Valencia CF ambassadors – Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo, and Miguel Ángel Bossio-, and the vice president of the Valencia CF Footballers Association – José Manuel Sempere-
“I have not missed a year of football. I had the number 7 as a child member of Valencia CF. When I turned 14, they moved me to adult and, until now, my daughters and my two grandchildren have accompanied me. They are 100% Valencia fans, like me,” describes Ramón Vivó, a member with over 50 years of uninterrupted seniority.
The 29 members present received a badge for their loyalty and sentiment for the club of their life: Valencia CF.
