The Municipal Council organized a day of reflection on Wednesday to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on adolescence. The first session of this meeting will start at 10 am with the title «Education, emotions, and digital media». It will be moderated by the Head of the Dependency Service, Manuel Gómez Tejedor, and the teacher from the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Malaga, Manuel Fernández Navas, who will talk about «digital media, a new paradigm for a new old school»; And the clinical and educational psychologist specialized in emotional and social education, Carmen Louuriro Rey, who will intervene with her presentation: «Why do I feel this way? and analyze the ‘sadness and identity of the digital world’.»
At noon, the Councilors of Social Services, Marta Torrado, the General of FAD Youth, Beatriz Martín, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Valencia, Amparo Ruiz Saurí, will officially open the day, which will continue with another roundtable moderated by the psychologist and youth coordinator of FAD in Valencia, Laura Ferrer.
In this second roundtable, criminologist and educational mediator María Galán García will speak about «the less friendly face of social networks in adolescence.
