The IV VCF Academy World Cup week kicks off

With the excitement of being able to enjoy a unique experience at the Ciutat Esportiva del Valencia CF. This is how the week started for the IV VCF Academy World Cup with a record number of participants, the U12 tournament that until next Sunday brings together more than 200 players from the various VCF Academy Programs that Valencia CF has in America, Asia, and Europe.

a week full of activity

From early Monday morning, the first teams that have been arriving in Valencia over the weekend have started their activities, the first of them being VCF Academy Canada, who inaugurated the new direct air connection between Valencia and Montreal on Saturday and enjoyed a special welcome from the Visit Valencia Foundation.

During these days before the start of the competition, they will enjoy a comprehensive preparation with training sessions and friendly matches that will allow them to better understand the methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in player development for elite competition

The joyful faces of the players said it all. The VCF Academy Seattle, VCF Academy Chicago, and VCF Academy Houston from the USA, along with VCF Academy Canada, were joined this morning by Dinamo Star SE from Hungary, The Bridge SC from Jordan, and The Bridge SC from Saudi Arabia.

The smiles of the young players and their families will accompany them throughout an intense week that, after training sessions and friendly matches, will have several special moments.

The first of these will be on Thursday, June 26 (1:00 p.m.) with the official presentation at Antonio Puchades and the parade of all the teams, to then start the competition on Friday for the IV VCF Academy World Cup with a record number of participants and with 14 teams from Canada, USA, Netherlands, Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia who will seek to win a tournament that was won by the Escoles VCF team in the previous edition.

It will be a few days full of Sentiment, Courage, and Brotherhood that will allow them to enjoy football with their teammates and families while feeling like part of the Valencia family that continues to grow every season, as evidenced by the numerous VCF Camps happening around the world this summer, including the recent VCF Camp Morocco where Valencia CF resumes activities in Africa or with the opening in August of the first VCF Academy Mexico

The VCF Academy World Cup is part of the VCF Academy Programs along with the various VCF Academies in America, Asia, and Europe, the VCF Camps held worldwide by Valencia CF, the Training Experiences at the Ciutat Esportiva del Valencia CF, and many other initiatives that help promote the Club’s brand image.

Each season, more than 5000 children from over 50 countries participate in some of the activities that make up the VCF Academy Programs
