Más de 40.000 personas disfrutan del 10º Festival de Les Arts en València

Over 40,000 people enjoyed the 10th edition of the Les Arts Festival this weekend, reaffirming its position as «Valencia’s premier music event.»

The event, which took place on July 6 and 7, transformed the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències de València into «the epicenter of culture, music, and the ultimate festival experience,» as highlighted by the organizers in a statement.

This year, the festival sold out within 30 minutes of tickets going on sale, marking «an unprecedented milestone that demonstrates the consolidation of its loyal community and the enthusiasm to experience this special edition.»

As part of its expansion, the Les Arts Festival debuted two new stages that «expanded the musical and aesthetic offerings of the event,» bringing «new layers of rhythm and energy to the already iconic Valencian venue.»

The first of these was Hivernacle by Scalpers, a «sophisticated» and «immersive» space that allowed for «embracing a new audience and style of music in a completely natural way.»

Bèrnia, the winning band of the Concurs de Les Arts by ESIC Campus Valencia, kicked off this stage on Friday 8, followed by «major» names that «define the current indie scene»: Carlos Ares, Barry B, Besmaya, Marlena, and Mujeres filled this Scalpers-sponsored space with «music, light, and plenty of style» on the first day of this edition.

On Saturday, EME, the second winning band of the Concurs de Les Arts, opened this stage to a crowd of fans supporting emerging music in the city. They were followed by Mafalda Cardenal, Paula Mattheus, Malmö 040, La Paloma, and Cala Vento, who closed out this stage’s inaugural edition «on a high note.»

LES ARTS CLUB BY REDBULL

Electronic music took center stage at the event this year with a new space sponsored by RedBull that attracted a lively crowd ready to enjoy the beats of Blan.trss, Fran.cis, Calabasa, and Andres Llatas on Friday, and Badano, Ladrillovitz, Sueezo, and Boranimals on Saturday. A «perfect» fusion of electronic music, design, and an immersive experience.

On the Mediolanum and Heineken stages, with more years of history at the festival, «major» artists like Zahara, Delaporte, Niña Polaca, Miss Caffeina, Siloé, Crystal Fighters, Xoel López, and Viva Suecia performed. They all delivered standout moments like Siloé’s descent into the crowd to the beat of ‘Todos los besos’ or the fireworks with Crystal Fighters on Friday and Viva Suecia on Saturday.

Additionally, this year, the event aimed to further diversify the festival experience with playful and family-friendly elements such as retro arcade machines and a dedicated area for the little ones: Les Arts Kids, where the festival’s «most special» birthday was celebrated with a huge cake, a band, cotton candy, and popcorn.

The VIP area «exceeded expectations» with the introduction of Canalla Bistro by Ricard Camarena, a Michelin-starred establishment offering a unique gastronomic experience with a Valencian touch to VIP attendees.

With this edition, the Les Arts Festival once again solidifies its position as «the premier festival in the city of Valencia.» «However, beyond the numbers, the true achievement is having created a vibrant community, a shared celebration space, and a legacy that is already part of the city’s cultural DNA. Valencia is music. And the Les Arts Festival, its best soundtrack,» emphasized the organizers.
